SUPPORT THE RESILIENCE OF BLACK, BROWN & ASIAN ORGANIZERS
by The Organizing Center

Maryam Arain
The Organizing Center is a Philly-based organization that supports grassroots organizations from DC to NYC to build the power and capacity of black and brown, poor and working class, and women and gender-oppressed movement leaders!
I'm tired of seeing brilliant organizers jaded, burnt out, and not getting the support they need to continue to lead us towards winning the structural changes our future needs! I know we have the vision to win, we have the heart to win - the OC helps us hone our SKILLS to win our fights for economic, racial, environmental and food justice!
That's why I'm raising money for Resilient Futures, one of the OC's keystone peer learning labs. Designed for Black, Brown, & Asian organizers and their directors, the program helps organizers to build resilience practices and directors to build a culture of resilience in their organization.
Help us raise 30K by December 8th!
The Organizing Center is launching our annual Fundraising Leap. This year we are working to raise $30,000 by December 8th to support our Resilient Futures cohorts for Black, Brown and Asian organizers and their directors.
Every year The Organizing Center supports hundreds of organizers to grow their skills in the fundamentals of organizing and to transform their practices so that they build the resilience that will sustain them for the long-haul. In order to do this we need you!
We offer low-cost, sometimes even free, workshops and coaching to organizations that, themselves, are struggling to make ends meet. We're committed to supporting the growth of powerful base building projects- no matter their ability to pay. With your support we can continue this critical work in a time when building community power is so necessary.
Resilient Futures is one of our keystone peer learning labs. Designed for Black, Brown, & Asian organizers and their directors, we run two parallel cohorts to support organizers to build resilience practices and directors to build a culture of resilience in their organization.
